Retouch controls apply subtle whole-image smoothing; they do not identify or erase individual moles or blemishes with precision. Keep edits natural for official ID photos.

Automatic mode uses AI to detect the person and create a transparent subject cutout without drawing. Manual lasso mode lets you trace around the subject yourself, then apply the outline. Use either method and then choose a replacement background colour or image.

AI segmentation requires internet access. Manual and edge-assisted Auto Lasso work locally in your browser and do not upload the photo. Both modes use pin-by-pin clicks; Auto Lasso snaps each pin and traces between pins toward nearby image edges, but it does not identify the person by itself. Complex hair edges may need careful tracing. A colour change replaces the background only after successful segmentation.
